It’s all about nature, outdoor exploration, wilderness survival, learning about the environment and of course good clean dirty fun. The week’s events culminate with our famous Camp Out Day! We’ll have hot dogs for roasting, marshmallows for toasting, singing in tents with lanterns aglow. There’ll be telling of neat stories and tales of the glories of camp adventures long, long ago. So join us for this for s’more fun.
Session 3: June 7th –June 11th: Under the Boardwalk Week
An experience that is so real, it’s like taking a week long beach vacation. From funnel cake and salt water taffies to boardwalk games and water day, your kids will experience a week of fun water themed activities. On Friday, join us for our Carnival Day! On this special fun filled day your child can bring a buddy for a nominal fee.
Session 4: June 14th –June 18th: A Reading Rainbow (LANGUAGE ARTS) (This session begins the 4 week Choose to Compete Academic Excellence Series)
Just take a look. It’s in a book…the Reading Rainbow. Through reading, spelling, phonics and grammar we’ll show your child how they can do all things. We’ll throw in a dose of serious fun for good measure to help prepare your child to compete as they enter the next grade.
Session 5: June 21st –June 25th: The Great Science Probe (SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY)
Science can be fun and practical. Why does a cork float while a rock sinks? Why do male fireflies have wings while female fireflies don’t? These questions and more will be answered as volcanoes erupt, bugs are inspected and the Milky Way is explored. We’ll do hands on experiments and plenty of creative fun. So join us we explore “real life” science!
Session 6: June 28th –July 2nd: We See the Nations (FOREIGN LANGUAGE)
Grab your passport and get ready to experience the food, games, sights and sounds of a different country each day. Have you always wanted to know how to make sushi or speak a different language? By the end of the week, your child may be able to do just that. We top off the week with the ultimate culinary passport: our signature International Potluck Luncheon.
Session 7: July 6th –July 9th: Math Madness (MATHEMATICS)
Get ready for exponential fun as we use games to explore mathematics. Math is all around us. We will show the children that they know more than they think as we relate math to every day life as well as areas of interest like sports and shopping.
Session 8: July 12th –July 16th: Iron Chef Week
We are cooking up a storm this week. We’ll be baking, sautéing and cake decorating. That’s not all. Your kids will learn about etiquette, nutrition, good eating habits and more- all mixed with spoonfuls of fun. Back by popular demand…our Iron Chef Competition. Whose cuisine will reign supreme? There’s only one way to find out!
Session 9: July 19th –July 23rd: Ridin’ the Range
Davey Crockett and Wyatt Earp thought they were having lots of fun in the west. During this week, we are kicking up the west a notch as we explore just what the old west was like- with a couple of twists. So get ready for a foot stomping, roping good time as we conclude our week with a good old fashion ho down.
Session 10: July 26th –July 30th : The Incredible Race
Have you ever thought of what it would be like to combine the X Games, the Indy 500 and the Olympics in one week? We have! There will be relay races, obstacle courses, remote controlled car racing and messy water fun. There will intellectual and athletic competition. Your children will have record breaking fun.
