What are the ages of Children of Promise campers?
We serve children age’s kindergarten through grade 8. Campers will be grouped according to their grade and will participate in age appropriate activities. We are offering a middle school leadership training camp this year exclusively for students in the 6th through 8th grades.
How long does your camp program run?
Our program runs for the entire 10 weeks of summer according to the Cobb County Schools calendar. We begin on May 24, 2010 and end on July 30, 2010.
Does my child have to attend the entire ten weeks?
If not, will I be penalized?
No. Your child does not have to attend the entire ten weeks. You may choose your preferred sessions according to your summer schedule. You will not be penalized or required to pay any amount for the weeks that your child is not present.
What are camp hours?
Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00a.m to 3:45p.m. We offer before care from 7:00 –9:00a.m. and after care from 3:45-6:00p.m. at no extra charge.
When is registration?
Pre-registration is open NOW and is ongoing until we fill up. We strongly urge you to pre-register as soon as possible.
How do I register my child?
You may register your child using any of the following methods:

What fees are due at pre-registration and are they refundable?
There is a one-time registration fee of $75.00 for one child or $125.00 for 2 or more campers from the same family. Also, there is a deposit of $50.00 per child to reserve your child’s place. This $50.00 deposit will go towards your child’s first week of tuition. All fees due at pre-registration are non-refundable.
What is the weekly tuition?
Weekly tuition is $125.00 per week per child. If you have three or more children from the same family a sibling discount will apply.
Is the weekly tuition and all-inclusive price?
Yes. The weekly tuition includes all field trips and activity fees as well as lunch and snacks.
Is lunch provided?
Yes. Lunch is provided, however, campers have the option of bringing a sack lunch.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is pre-paid and must be paid by the first day the camper arrives each week.
What type of activities will my child experience?
Your elementary aged child will experience a summer adventure of learning and serious fun. Activities include but are not limited to fun and educational field trips, arts and crafts, music, swimming, creative and performing arts, community service opportunities, dance, nature walks, picnics, games, chapel, sports and relays. In addition to these fun activities your middle school child will experience entrepreneurial projects, science and technology, health and safety training, conflict resolution exposure, physical fitness, leadership training and more.
